Alloys

Alloy is generally defined as the mixture of few elements to get a new mixture with increased rigidity and strength. Alloy has its importance in almost every existing fields and it has gained its position in the field of automobile wheels. Usually the automobiles wheels are made of an alloy of aluminum or magnesium which provides luster at the same time strengthens the wheel. In the beginning the wheels were generally made of spokes which had less strength and weighed more. The alloys are of lesser weight and thus enable the automobile to movie in a faster pace. These alloy wheels are available in various shapes and sizes and thus the consumer has full liberty in selecting the alloy that suits his vehicle better. Also alloy wheels provide us with high balance. However though alloy wheels have several advantage they are prone to corrosion so proper care should be taken to avoid corrosion, or else it might lead to leakage of air from the tires. Now days it’s been a trend that people prefer wheels which are of alloy kind rather than the traditional spokes. Though these alloys can’t be repaired easily they gain there importance through there look and performance.
